You follow wellness influencers who are experiencing similar symptoms. You know what you “should” do. You’ve cut the thing, added the supplement, followed the protocol… yet food still feels more confusing and less supportive than ever. You just want to be healthy, and now each meal carries more weight than it needs to. At the end of the day, you just want to eat a meal you enjoy and then forget about it.
As a dietitian, I’ll be the first to say… your brain has more important things to worry about.
Most of the information about eating for your hormones is restriction with a rebrand. Avoid this, add that, take all these supplements your body may or may not need. For conditions like PCOS (now: PMOS) and Hashimoto’s, this approach tends to make things harder.
Our work together starts with a real picture: comprehensive labwork, an honest look at what you’re consuming, and reevaluating if your current supplement stack is evidence-based or just expensive. From there, nutrition is additive - building adequacy and nourishment first, then layering in targeted interventions that are grounded in your results.
Your hormones aren’t the enemy… they may just be underfed.

Whether you’re planning ahead, currently pregnant, or still recovering from a pregnancy, your body is doing a lot and the information coming at you is probably relentless. What should be a treasured time is being taken over by food rules, supplement lists, and comments from people who mean well but are only adding to the overwhelm.
This work covers the full picture - preconception nourishment, managing symptoms through pregnancy (especially hyperemesis), and rebuilding routines postpartum. Our approach is evidence-based and built around what is actually realistic for your body and your season of life.
Nourishing yourself is the best thing you can do for the both of you.

What started as food rules in pursuit of health turned into something outside of your control. What does feel like it’s in your control? Restricting your food. But the rules eventually feel unattainable, the grazing turns into something you didn’t plan for, and then there is a spiral that follows that gets you back to square one.
Whether it’s anorexia, bulimia, or binge eating disorder, our work together centers around breaking the restrict-binge cycle and building a relationship with food that doesn’t require constant management. Let’s reach a place of going out to dinner and being present, reaching for seconds if you’re still hungry, and moving through your day without eating being the thing you think about most.
Two things can be true: recovery is hard, and it’s worth it.

A dietitian who will never hand you a list of foods you can’t eat without backing it up.
My passion lies in helping you feel less stressed around food and better in your body. My mornings start with an iced coffee from Dunkin’ and usually end with scrolling the true crime side of Reddit. You can expect me to ask a lot of questions (in the best way possible, promise) and hold space for all the nuance of your nutrition journey.

In a world that keeps finding things to take off your plate, the research consistently points in the opposite direction. Real nourishment - adequate food, targeted evidence-based supplements, and a body that feels supported rather than depleted - is what creates change.
My practice is rooted in Health at Every Size ® principles, which means the work is never about shrinking your body. It’s about building a body that has enough fuel, nutrients, and grace to stop fighting itself.
Throughline Nutrition is in-network with Aetna, Cigna, United, and Emblem. However, each plan is different and I recommend you check with your insurance to ensure your specific plan covers nutrition counseling. You can use this script to guide the conversation.
If your insurance doesn’t cover nutrition counseling, we can still work together at a private pay rate. I can provide you with a superbill that you may be able to apply to your out-of-network benefits.

Yes! I am in-network with Aetna, United Healthcare, Cigna, and Emblem Health. However, because each individual's plan is different, I always recommend verifying with your insurance company that nutrition counseling is covered on your plan. You can use this script to guide the conversation with your insurance!

Absolutely, this is my sweet spot. First, we take a close look at your cycle and hormonal patterns. From there, we optimize your nutrition to prepare your body for conception. Combining these steps will allow you to create a strong foundation for a healthy pregnancy and baby.

That's precisely what I do. A diagnosis of PMOS does not mean you need to adhere to a strict diet, despite what wellness influencers and a quick Google search lead you to believe. Each person's experience with PMOS looks different, which means our approach to your nutrition will be individualized.

We're learning more about hyperemesis every day, and that means more ways to prepare. Before your next pregnancy, we'll review the current research, support your nutrition and gut health, and build a plan tailored to you, designed to help lower your risk and feel more in control. And once you're pregnant, we'll keep adjusting that strategy together to help you manage symptoms as they come up.

I totally hear you. Food is complicated, emotional, and entails so many other topics, like body image, sleep, digestion, movement... you get it. The frequency and depth of our convos around food really vary. My goal is to meet you where you're at and move at a pace that is comfortable and supportive of your recovery and relationship with food.
